Next-generation
handcuff technology
for law enforcement

Proteus Smart Handcuffs record their own use. The cuffs log how and when they are applied and are designed to trigger a body-worn camera before the moment of restraint, producing a time-stamped record of an arrest without asking anything of the officer.

The mechanical design also addresses the two most common failures of conventional handcuffs: injuries caused by overtightening, and errors in application.
